There was a time when Challenge TV showed them in double bills on a Saturday morning and sitting on the sofa in my pyjamas with a cup of tea and Treasure hunt on was my favourite time of the whole week. It combines all my favourite things; history, the British countryside and detective work. This quiz blog is an homage to that, in this virtual age where we can't explore the beautiful countryside and visit our amazing local attractions. The quizzes are designed for Google Earth and a search engine of your choice. Read the clues and use a search engine to discover the location you are looking for, type it in to Google Earth and explore the location using street view. When you have your answer, type it into the box and the next clue will appear.
